I'm looking forward to the solo live of Philip Bailey in Tokyo this week!
I'm being excited to listen to his song .
Now I want to write about his solo albumu in the category of The Album that EWF menbers participated.

I think that each Philip Bailey's solo album is best!
But this album is my fovorite best of all!
Philip Bailey The self-confident work that his name made itself the album title!

Every song is an urban and sweet, and even if it's listened, how many times is it fascinating?

This is the album that our David B Whitworth participated as a menber!
B David was also credited with the musical director.

Beautiful heavy to deploy only the voice in harmony without instruments!
 I really admired their music .
Oh it was like being washed my heart any time when I listen to these!

Songs that recorded in the track 15 "You For Kleenex" is the same tune with "Kierra".

This song was used for the CM of Kleenex(Japanese famous bland of tissue ).

All songs are so gentle and worth to listening many times, you know.

Indeed, He is the great producer and also great song writter!

This performance was Ccnducted by a special live large hit rare species, "David Foster With Friends"


This is his second set of LIVE!
We can see and listen the performance of Earth, Wind & Fire!

Like Grammy Aword stage this was so gorgeous like a dreamy DVD.

EWF was showing us a medley of three songs.
"In The Stone", "September", "After The Love Has Gone"

EWF and David Foster are playing together and the scene is gorgeous!

Philip Bailey Jr had participated in EWF ,
and David Foster had been giving them a comment ,"Next Generation!" .
Also maurice white was introduced as American tresure!
David Foster said about "After The Love Has Gone"
that the song was real start of his career.

Mo Plesure and EWF Horns did take of the backing of whole stage!


However EWF fans can not miss this project!

I like the socond vocalist of Earth,Wind& Fire,B David Whitworth !
I love the way of his shinging.
His performance always mekes us so happy !

But I didn't know the important fact that he was the menber of 14 Karat Souｌ.
14 Karat Souｌis a famous chorous group .
There were well Knwon in Japan ,too wiht the song of Tatsuro Yamashita or Chage & Aska.


I was surfing the net for research to gather information of their membership history information ,But I could not be found.

Even though I seacher with these 2 words,"B David Whitworth" and "14 Karat Soul",
I could not be found .

So I guessed the period of his joinning at that group.

B David Whitworth joined Earth,Wind & Fire in 1996.
So I bought 3 CDs bitween the period from 1990 to 1996.

His name was not there on ”In Love With You" in 1990、
But I Could find his name and picture at the rest.

I suppose that B David Whitworthdid participated in 2 albums.

”Have Fun Tonight" and ”For Keeps"!

This time I introduce ”Have Fun Tonight" first.

Splendid one we can enjoy the beautiful harmony of 14 Karat Soul !
Do Up until the old days or up-tempo dance music.

She also joined the band "Parliament".
After these 2 groups She joined this group,The Friends Of Distinction.

Blue Magic is a R&B and soul group from Philadelphia .
I'd like to buy their 5th album "Message from the Magic"
 which EWF members participated in 1997, and I looked for it variously,
 it wasn't possible to find it.

So I decided to buy their best album including the album song.
This album!
I've never listened to their music before, but I thought that it was very nice!

Striking music with slow rhythm and the melody easy to remenmber .
A high-pitched lead vocal may be sweet and similar to the atmosphere in Stylistics.


It's a song called "I Waited" that Philip Bailey and Al McKay participated.

Philip Bailey also joined in writting with Ernest Staughter, Luther Waters.
Philip Bailey did joined in performance with percussion, but I wanred to listen to his voice ,too.

I go so eased with his expressive of piano .
Brian Culbertson is a pianist,composer and music producer in the smooth jazz ,world fusion.

Album In the year 2009 "Bringing Back the Funk" ,many EWF members participated.

This is his seventh album, he covered EWF classic tune ,"Serpentine Fire 2!

Wow nice !

It noticed me again that piano was a tool with so much expression.
Arrangement of this tune was close to the original ,but a piano melody was so fresh !

Former EWF Horns, Gary Grant, Jerry Hey, Bill Reichenbach joined as well!

For adults to listen to other songs too!
