Sonny Emory was the menber of Urban Knights at this time!

I was surprised that there were different kinds of music even under production of Maurice White and attendance of EWF menbers!

This is the album that EWF fan must have!

From 3rd album of Urban Knights, Maurice did not join this project.
I suppose it was because Ramsey Lewis moved to Narada Jazz from GRP/

I Am　/　Earth, Wind & Fire　（1979）　



Powerful album featuring 2 songs,"Boogie Wonderland" and "After the Love Has Gone",
which won Grammy award !

It's all 5 songs of other "In the Stone""Star""Can't Let Go" above-mentioned that single cut was done.
This album recorded 3rd place in the Pop Chart and 1st place in the Black chart of the billboard.

This was reissured after adding 3 songs to the original album in 2004.
David Foster made a spectacular showing in various songs/
(By the way, "After the Love Has Gone" is a cover song of Airplay which David Foster belonged.)

Every song is so familiar and wonderful!
When I listen to the instrumental song "Rock That! " which is often played in Live even now, I fall an excited state a heart and a body.

Patrice Rushen is R&B singer, songwriter, composer, and pianist.
We also see her name in various collaboration plans or albums of other artists.

After 80's,She bigun to produce the music of TV or movies,
She became the first woman to serve as head composer/musical director for the Grammy Awards and the Emmy Awards.

Her 13th solo album was not as successful as her previous album,
but every song is so great work ranked high that we can be satisfied.

We seldom have opportunities to see the fingers playing instrument near,
but we can recognize how they play clearly.
It's like magic!

I wondered that only sound of base could creat various expressions .

A regrettable one is that money isn't hung on proof and a set.
I wanted the staff to care the lighting more to enjoy the lessen from big artists more!

That Earth, Wind & Fire is going to perform at the White House!

The White House announced today that the President and First Lady will
welcome the National Governors Association to the White House on Sunday,
February 22nd for the 2009 Governors
’ Dinner. The evening will feature performances by the Marine Corps band
and music legends Earth Wind and Fire.

WOW! I envy the Pregident!

This is the sound of Summer Jam and Soul Music Festival held on St.Martin/St.Maarten.
Many stars of 70's gathered to Mc Sinbad!

Earth, Wind & Fire also participated in this festival and performed
"That's The Way Of The World"
It was live version that bigins with chorus in the biginning.

We can feel the atmosphere and heat of this festival.
I envy the audience who could join and see this performance .

There is the cover song of Earth, Wind & Fire in the 2nd album of MC Hammer!

On Your Face is that song.

His step and musical approach have changed the fashion of the music in at that time , and seem to have had a great influence on street music of today.

Just as it was in "On Your Face", he changed this song to the street music with an arrangement of the original piece of music !
So Cool!

It's regrettable that such big artist couldn't go out in front of many people......
because of his bankruptcy .
