An element of experimental sound is taken in, and it's quite interesting.

A vocal of Stanley Clarke is of primary concern, so I don't live through voice of Robert Brookins with full, but this is a fun album .

There is a cover of "Bore In USA" of Bruce Springsteen,
This Rap matches a song, and it's so cool!

Briiant album that we can enjoy singing ability of the presence of Nancy Wilson.
When her voice is heard, moreover I make it pleasant surely., even the song heard for the first time is reaching our ear and heart smoothly.

Philip Bailey participateｄ by a background vocal for the 2songs in this album!
" Don't Ask My Neighbors" you know, a hit song of Emotions!
Wanda Vaughn and Jeanette Hawes in Emotions which is an original artist in addition to PhilipBailey also participated.

But unfortunately the vocal volume of Philip and Emotions is rather low. ...

One more song of Philip's participation is "Heaven's Hands"
This magnificent song stands up by a chorus corps of a luxurious guest.

Gatchaman

Gatchaman (1994)

Gathaman is the Japanese popular cartoon film series.
It was also changed the title and the contents for a short while with" Battle of the Planetshttp" for the broadcast in US.
Maurice White and Bill Meyers took the charge of a sound track of the remake video board.

There is a picture of Maurice and Bill in the back of the jacket.


It isn't unusual that these two people take charge of film music, isn't it only this to call all songs of a balled work making?
All songs are magnificent and it's also easy to feel a melody, and we can imagine livening a picture easily.
(I have not watchied the video.) I knew information on this CD by a handbill at a concert meeting place in EWF before a long time... It was available finally several years ago.

GATCHAMAN 2 which has added a theme song of an original television series was also sold next year.
But I can't also think almost all Maurice and Bill also concern a renewal .
There is no difference so much in the arrangements.
So even for the EWF fan, I thinkt you have no necessary to buy it.

The latest solo album of Robert Brookins though I introduced lightly in a past article .
Something You Can Make Love To
Rally Cool and Refined album!
But I can't find how to buy this .

I love the most in his solo albums.
It ranks in to the one piece of ten in all my favorite albums.
11 of 12 songs of this collection were written by Robert Brookins.
And another song is "September"!Of Earth,wind&Fire/
Atmosphere is quite different from original "September".
Though I have listened thevarious covers of September ･･･ I like this most expect the original.
RAP ,inserted in the tune is so cool again.

Anyway, his husky voice makes us intoxicated with slow tune for the lovers.

It's not easy to consent that such high quality album is not circulating in general !
Fortunately, I got in the counter in the concert of Earth and Wind&Fire in Tokyo.

I wanted to see this LIVE then,

Wind&Fire.
Especially, the music at the age when Al is on the register.
It may be thought that it is CD of EWF when the person who doesn't know him well.

Though it was the highest condition for everything to rise to the ear for the EWF fan ,
I thought that I also wanted an original number as Al Mckay All Stars to be crazy!

Maurice participated in Ramsey Lewis Trio as a drummer before, and he
offered the teacher a wonderful groove to this album.

SUN GODESS was collected to their first lived album "Gratitude"
And this piece of music is sometimes performed in live of EWF.

The scat of Maurice, Philip, and Verdine is really light and is comfortable like EWF.
