 Earth,Wind & Fire Japanese Singles Collection (2020)  

The artist's single songs vary from country to country. 

 Earth, Wind & Fire is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. 

Collection set of single songs released in Japan has been released. 

2 CDs and 1DVD. 

Two thick booklets are included, one of which is a lineup of single jackets from Japan. 

The design of the early days makes us feel the times. 

Notably, the full version of Brazilian Rhyme was recorded on CD for the first time. 

And the promotion video of 4 songs were recorded on the DVD for the first time. First, "Brazilian Rhyme". 

I'm grateful for the longer playing time because it always makes me want to listen more. 

When I listen to EWF's hit songs with the passage of time after a long time ... 

Once again, I am amazed at the high degree of perfection. 

The arrangements and choruses are all meticulously assembled in every detail. 

Further DVD. "Wanna Be The Man" I watched this for the first time. 

* It's not a cool finish, but ... 

 It's been a while since I saw Maurice White's "I Need You" video and felt it. 

I didn't think when I first saw it ... 

There were multiple beautiful women in this video. 

However, when the lyrics are superimposed ... 

It seems that the main character is reaching out to multiple women ... 

Shouldn't it be better to narrow down the heroine to one person? 

 Anyway, I think it's a must-have collection for fans.

It took me a month to finish reading,
as I have not made it a habit.

 At first it took a while to read,but after 100 page,
I follow the page I am excited about the episode with EWF members and well-known superstars I wanted to secure time to read quickly · · ·

I felt that way. The first black band that changed the history of music.
 Its history and energy gave you power I believe.

 When thinking that such a leader, Maurice does not exist in this world anymore・・・
I am very lonely though ...
 The music he left behind and the various influences are engraved numerous and deeply in history.

 Please read this book and get to know the origin of EWF.
And the message Maurice wanted to tell. Except some disco music, EWF's music is great message from outer space. That way I recognize it.

 A strong step-up message like the world coach, Anthony Robbins !
 They send us with music. One book I would like to read by those who are not EWF fans.

33rd Annual Christmas In Washington

I found in the excited video of Earth,Wind & Fire performing their Christmas songs.

Earth,Wind & Fire released their first Christmas album "Holiday" last year, you know.

This year, they did add 5songs to that album
after renaming the tittle ,"The Classic Christmas Album"

 However, these official music video, any member of the EWF has appeared.
Stitched together a Christmas image.

This was EXCITED to  me.
I could check the scene of their playing "Winter Wonderland" and "December"

This was recorded at the stage of 33rd Annual Christmas in Washington.

I was so excited to get this album.

The Salty Peppers is the roots of EWF that 

Maurice White formed during his activities of Ramsey Lewis Trio.

Maurice White / Drum

The original members of Earth,Wind & Fire

when they released their first album as EWF.

First single "La La Time"it made peop;e to know them .

Next, They released 2nd single "Uh Huh Yeah"

Having taken in style with singing  like YEAH or LALA ,mainly rather than meaningful words.

I felt like it roots of later Earth,Wind & Fire sound.

Although it is the album released about 45 years ago, I don't feel these sound old.

Is it because I am a big fan? 

I accept overflowing power and a message from those songs.

I realized the interesting fact when I first listen to this album about one song.

"Your Love Is Life"

This song is featured in this album.

That means this song was recorded 3 times at their original album.

It was published firstly at this album as The Salty Peppers.

2nd time ,Earth,Wind & Fire performed at this first album.

3rd time ,this song was played with new members at "In The Name Of Love"

I suppose that this song has something special meaning for Maurice White.

Classic Christmas Album

The Classic Christmas Album　/ Earth,Wind & Fire （2015）

Last year, Earth and Wind & Fire  released the Christmas Album at first time for their carrier.

I heard the news that they also released special album this year.

And I got it in my hands.

Some precious sound source were contained, these not recorded in their original album .
This album is not a new one.

It is special edition of "Holiday"featuring  bonus tracks.

After this Christmas album released, Who is going to buy last album "Holiday"?

But it was happy for me to know song that I didn't have in my EWF library.
Songs added to this album were the following .

Commercials  song produced for the Target ,American Super chain .
This song  was on a collaboration album called "Sounds Of The Season" in 2005.

●　Get Your Hump on This Christmas (From The Cleveland Show)

Collaboration with "Cleveland Show"the character of spin-off " Family Guy"broadcast in the United States FOX.
This song was released in only Mp3 download in 2009.


●　I Asked For A Miracle (God Gave Me You)

This is the only song that I don't have source in my EWF library.
It was in  ” Legendary ” of Full Force in 2007.
Beautiful voice of Philip Bailey lead holy tune.
To have met this song, I was so happy to buy this album.


●　Open Your Heart to Love

The solo single of Maurice White  at first time after he released his solo album "Maurice White" After release by Mp3 downloads sales, It was featured in Season album "'Tis The Season"in 1997.


●　One World

 Hit song writers in US and Russia carried out collaboration  at first time in 1988.
"Music Speaks Louder Than Word" was full of message of peace.
Earth,Wind & Fire recorded great performance with  children's chorus .

It is the DVD of live performance done in Yoyogi Olimpic Pool ,Japan in 1994.
Live started from appeappearance like gramary show with opening tune of Bill Meyers composition.
It got excited.

Medley of hit songs makes enerybody dance and shake!
It was rolled in the whirlpool of the excitement at once ･･･.
It was glad to see sing in the stage where Maurice White and Philip Bailey are still the same.
(It is also glad again that we have Sheldon Reynolds and Sonny E there. )
In live of EWF, it is a charm to make it new arrange the familiar music to fresh version.
I love to listen to the long version of standard number.

Though the CG images of flowing space was good-looking.,the fan wanted to experience the whole live without any cut!
Total time of DVD was too short comparing ｔｈｅ with the real live!

However, 'Cause live was performed ten more years before , members of EWF were young!
The body of Philip Bailey was still slim.

I think that this is the only film that we can see the performance of "Would' t Change A Thing About You ".
