But sometimes ,different versions of familiar songs sounds fresh to our ears.

If I tried to use EWF CDs as back ground music with the task going.
Soon I could't stop my leg taking a step 2 dance.
It is the better choice to listen without vocal when you have something to do.

There exsists many covers of Earth,Wind & Fire's music.

Every time I search about Maurice White on AMAZON, I find in the upper ,
single CD of Japanese female artist Miliya Kato.


But I've never heard of attendance of Maurice to that CD!
Anyway, I orderd this!

I found the name of Maurice White as the author of FUTURECHECKA featured in this CD .
FUTURECHECKA used the sample of "Brazilian Rhyme" of Earth, Wind & Fire.

It was very suited to that melody.
I like it!

I listened this Cd after a long time during the driving to my homutown of Kanazawa in this summer vacation.

This is a mini album of Yoko Blackstone with 5songs.

Though she is a Japanese singer, it sounds like Amerikan soul music with cool and numb taste!

"Fantasy" of Earth,Wind& Fire was coverd in this album!

So cool version with simple arrangement and  chorus.

It stands near the street of New York , I felt.
That sounds like the way of Robert Brookins.

I really love this version!
I want youm fan EWF fan ,to listen to this tune....

I go so eased with his expressive of piano .
Brian Culbertson is a pianist,composer and music producer in the smooth jazz ,world fusion.

Album In the year 2009 "Bringing Back the Funk" ,many EWF members participated.

This is his seventh album, he covered EWF classic tune ,"Serpentine Fire 2!

Wow nice !

It noticed me again that piano was a tool with so much expression.
Arrangement of this tune was close to the original ,but a piano melody was so fresh !

Former EWF Horns, Gary Grant, Jerry Hey, Bill Reichenbach joined as well!

For adults to listen to other songs too!
Possible intoxication MUSIC with many guests!

I found this CD by the result I did net retrieval of by a word and phrase of Earth,Wind & Fire.

Because EWF participated in his album "The Ecleftic -2 Sides II A Book", I also expected it this album.

But voice or performance of Earth,Wind & Fire didn't appear.

" A song called To All The Girls" is using a backing phrase of "Sunshine" of EWF.

Rap jumps in good on this striking rhythm.
In Cool and Hot Rap tune.

The cheerful contents makes us listen the melodies matched with our ears besides this song .
Wyclef Jean has added new essence to a famous tune in the past.

This album filled in diversity very much.

Famous tune of Earth,Wind & Fire,"After The Love Is Gone" was original written for the solo album of Bill Champlin.

So the one Bill sung by a lead in joint live with EWF might be the one which could be called original sound.

This song is futured in the album of "Airplay"

David Foster, Jay Graydon, Tommy Funderburk
The unit by these gorgeous 3 people.

The arrangement is different subtly and also different in a melody for a short while, and... the introduction part is different from the EWF version at all in particular.

At a chorus part where Maurice White sung, David Foster took charge of part which was being done slightly humbly!

The voice of David Foster is gentle like a keyboard.

Now, big hit song of EWF!
It's called by the title as the "After The Love Is Gone" .

To be called this song After The Love Has... and called After The Love Is seems to be because the beginning was Is.

Now which has passed for 30 years, even if it's heard once more, I don't feel old at all.

By the way, the members who were existence necessary to albums of EWF participated.

CHIX CHICKS is Japanese female vocal group of indies.

When I was looking for a related CD of Earth,Wind & Fire while doing a netsurfing, such album was found!
This album arranged for a song of an American great artists by a medley.

When you check the line-up, many people must be intererted in this CD!

It sounds that they were quite talented in singing .

I like the medley of Kylie minogue and Donnna Summer.
It sounds cool and hot at the same time.
But the medley of ABBA used a reverse effect too much, it was difficult for me to listen with joy.

And medley of Earth, Wind & Fire...

Mix of 2 songs, "Boggie Wonderland" and "Let's Groove"
My impression of this song was they just put the tempo and the tarnish to a scale that leads on an arrangement of Eurobeat and just linked it.
Original coolness and groove sense aren't felt at all.

The last 6th numbers mixed all songs of the above 5 set artists.
This song may be comfortable... A phrase of" dance, dance, dance" was doing the business which gathers the whole from the beginning of a song to the end.

Happy Feet  (2006)




I enjoyed this movie with rental fainally.

This movie won an academy aword of long piece cartoon film movie in 2006.
Penguins are quite good at a song,.But only the main character's man Mumble was slightly different.

But his step s estimated with big feet were so rhythmical.
I thought that such steps also seems a song like something quite connected, but in the world of a penguin, dance was thought not to suitable for them.

Boggie Wonderland of Earth,Wind & Fire was performed at the important scene.
Gloria ,the girl Mamble loves, sings with rhythm of steps of Mamble.

Brittany Murphy who took the charge of voice of Gloria sung!

"Boggie Wonderland "with lady's lead vocal alos sounds great!

Rap and sounds of steps were so fresh to my ears!
What a cool and pretty cover of EWF!

It's deserted that there are no voice and performance of a EWF member of course, but it's an interesting album for a fan!

There is the cover song of Earth, Wind & Fire in the 2nd album of MC Hammer!

On Your Face is that song.

His step and musical approach have changed the fashion of the music in at that time , and seem to have had a great influence on street music of today.

Just as it was in "On Your Face", he changed this song to the street music with an arrangement of the original piece of music !
So Cool!

It's regrettable that such big artist couldn't go out in front of many people......
because of his bankruptcy .

Cooking resembles music.
Both are very creative, very interesting how the expression the author shows.
The taste is delicately different even the cooking was made with the standard recipt.

Many creater gives many idea to the dishes.
A device and an effort of the arrangement makes a variation of innumerable cooking.

When you express this in music; a cook is a leader or a band becoming the nucleus of the performance.
Material such as a pumpkin or cheese are members and musical instruments.
Score is a recipe.
And an ear will take the duty on the tongue in the music.

Tribute album "Interpritations" to Earth,Wind&Fire was released.

September of Kirk Franklin and
Fantasy of Meshell Ndegeocello are very unique.

Mixed well and happily to another music of EWF!
However, the other music seems to have been bound too much by original music.
I wanted them to tell by various recipes.
Even if I say so, I always listen to this album.
