I feel like I'm deeper into the jazz territory than his previous album.
Still, full-fledged jazz sound ...
It heals you especially when you listen at night.


This sound was based on the rhythm of Warner's decades ago.
More standard, more impressive ...
One that makes a nice space.

Except for "Unrestrained" in 6, this is a jazz classic released by other artists.
They are dyed in Philip Bailey color and listened.
If you like Western liquor, make this album a BGM ,will make you feel more relaxed  than before.

I was so charmed with this cool and hot music, I bought single .

  B David Whitworth was a menber of 14 Karat Soul ,A cappella chorus group ,
before joinning Earth,Wind & Fire.

While he was in that group, he participated to release 2 albums.
This is the precious video which stored the live in Tokyo.

This video also incorporated the private scene before the performance.
At an airport, or a dressing room .

During the performance, there was a comedy corner in the intervals of music,
Slim B David Whitworth played the role of a sumo wrestler and made us laugh!

It seemed that B David Whitworth was full of the spirit of good service.

When they played the commercial song of Klinex tissue,
While looking beautifully,  at the sametime ,reflected humorously  in our eyes.

This is a soundtrack album of The Simpsons.
Famous TV anime program which recorded in-history longest congratulation
started in 1989 on American FOX television .

Although I have not witnessed the program itself,
I know the Simpsons's faces and names well.

The album of The Simpsons always featured the gorgeous artists.
C+C Music Factory did provide several music for this Simpson album.
Like the case of movie soundtrack "The Body Guard"
B David Whitworth of Earth,Wind & Fire participated for the back vocal
in ”I Just Can't Help Myself".

Written by D Ramos & David Cole.

Although Lead vocal of this song is by Bart and Lisa of the Simpson family,
 If you listen carefully ,you can feel the voice of David with sincerity and honesty.

Body Guard (1992)



I spent dreamy time with members of Earth,Wind &Fire at the back stage of the Japan tour .

I had chance to talk with  vocalist, B David Whitworth at  this time.


I told him that I collected albums these members  participated and had them ,he told me.

He  had participated in a song of C+C Music Factory by the back vocal before. ...

... the hip hop project which caused a boom by "Everybody Dance now" !


I have also liked them very much and have also gone to their  live before!


" What's the tittle of the album?"

 " I don't remember"

  The song title was informed from David, and  it's taken notes but I lost the memo.


Coz It was probably the simple title ,I thougut that my eyes could recall a song name,.

Check  all albums of C + C out from CD shelfs !

But  couldn't found...

After  2 days search of internet, I finally got the answer!

Wow,

I had it!

I had the album featuring a voice of B David Whitworth!


S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M.,

It wasn't the C+C Music Factory !

C+C Music Factory stood for 2 persons.

David Cole and Robert Clivilles .

They always made songs featuring many talented artists.

Originally,This song, "Lovely Day" was written and performed by Bill Withers /

But this version has different faces.

So Cool and Hot!



Main leading vocal was  by  Rapper,Michelle Visage,

but  a part of chorus, B David Whitworth did performe at rrthe center .




I ordered immediately the songle which incldes different version,!

Big Rock singer ,also a pianist and composer from State of New York South Bronx,.
His name is to the extent there isn't a person who doesn't know ,I suppose.

He got glory of a superstar in his hands since Stranger in 1977.

But I heard that album of studio recording wasn't released at all because Billy Joel placed a live in his center.

This his the 12th album got the top in Billboard.
His wild vocal and a delicate melody are touching our hearts damply.

B David Whitworth participated in this album with the back vocal!
It's more than one vocal work, so it isn't possible to be satisfied with his voice,
but I'm happy that his voice can be heard in such popular album.

This is the album that our David B Whitworth participated as a menber!
B David was also credited with the musical director.

Beautiful heavy to deploy only the voice in harmony without instruments!
 I really admired their music .
Oh it was like being washed my heart any time when I listen to these!

Songs that recorded in the track 15 "You For Kleenex" is the same tune with "Kierra".

This song was used for the CM of Kleenex(Japanese famous bland of tissue ).

I like the socond vocalist of Earth,Wind& Fire,B David Whitworth !
I love the way of his shinging.
His performance always mekes us so happy !

But I didn't know the important fact that he was the menber of 14 Karat Souｌ.
14 Karat Souｌis a famous chorous group .
There were well Knwon in Japan ,too wiht the song of Tatsuro Yamashita or Chage & Aska.


I was surfing the net for research to gather information of their membership history information ,But I could not be found.

Even though I seacher with these 2 words,"B David Whitworth" and "14 Karat Soul",
I could not be found .

So I guessed the period of his joinning at that group.

B David Whitworth joined Earth,Wind & Fire in 1996.
So I bought 3 CDs bitween the period from 1990 to 1996.

His name was not there on ”In Love With You" in 1990、
But I Could find his name and picture at the rest.

I suppose that B David Whitworthdid participated in 2 albums.

”Have Fun Tonight" and ”For Keeps"!

This time I introduce ”Have Fun Tonight" first.

Splendid one we can enjoy the beautiful harmony of 14 Karat Soul !
Do Up until the old days or up-tempo dance music.
