N2 The Journey

N2 The Journey / Larry Dunn Orchestra (2012)

As I expected, many members of  Earth and Wind & Fire had participated in.

I supposed that was this!
The album John Paris told me at the backstage of Japan Tour.
Saying many menbers of EWF was going to attend the album of the initial"L"artist.

However, it is regrettable that John Paris ,who taught the information, had not participated.

Many sounds with a cool and sufficient parenthesis which incorporated vocal music moderately .
I really got excited !

Now Then & Forever

Now Then & Forever / Earth,Wind & Fire (2013)

I've been waitting for long for this album.

This is the first time in their history that their leader Maurice White did not participate.

I felt different impression from other albums of EWF.
Although there was guidance that this album was aimed at starting point revolution of EWF .
But I felt different impression from other albums.
Maybe It was because of absense of Maurice.

It was like solo album of Philip Bailey.
the solo album of Philip Bailey in the extension of his solo album "Love Is Real"...

The profound harmonies and beats sound like EWF,
But Something was different.

Except up-beated song like "Sign On"or "Dance Fllor"
They were the music of the type which takes to it little by little when they're listened repeatedly.

However, of course, it is really my  favorite album!

The Adventures of Pluto Nash

The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002)

The science-fiction movie with the story taking place in the moon in 2087.
It is so Boring movie!
Theater opening to the public wsn't done in Japan.

It was nominated for 5 classes of the worst work prize of Golden raspberry prize, the worst actor prize, the worst director prize, the worst script prize and the worst screen couple prize! ,What the heroic achievement ?
It's the movie which became the topic of conversation by the different meaning,.
I really wonder why Eddy Murphy got an offer of this movie,

It'll be a failed cause of such kind of movie, the sound track with which special Earth,Wind&Fire participated wasn't CD-ized.
Don't you think it quite wasteful ...?

2 songs of EWF were featured in this film.

Fun & Free

I borrowed this DVD by rental, and I recorded the part where a song was played.

"Why" is collected in "The Promise",
but "Fun & Free" can be listened only by this movie.
This song is played by the last end title.
The speedy song with rap made the future bold.
A modern EWF sound.

Even if It's boring, but this DVD is worth buying it (Or borrowed?) to listen to this song!
