live performance! Philip Bailey and Ramsey Lewis played together at Blue Note Tokyo. It was lucky that I could be at table of stage slippage although I arrived fairly just before curtain time. The big percussion set is illuminated by the blue light before my slant. Lights dimmed 10 minutes later , Ramsey Lewis and his band member appeared after the narration . Although I saw Ramsay Lewis's for the first time, it is more youthful than have imagined . He must be remarkable age, he is tall and his back is so tight. Performance started. There was no member before the percussion set. Is that place for Philip? I wished.  ① BRAZILLICA ② DEAR LORD、BLESSINGS ③ PRECIOUS LORD (GOSPEL MEDLEY) ④ .HERE'S TO LIFE Even if the scale which he pronounced was 2 mark note of the same C , Ramsey's sound hears different. These were so emotional and magnificent! After 4 numbers, Ramsey Lewis called a name of guest. Philip Bailey appeared. What a great view! Philip stood in front of the percussion set. straight position from me. The reason why Philip was in black suit and took his tie on, Ramsey Lewis was in suit. Nearness when he did Shout, to the extent his saliva shined in lighting. It was really fortunate experience feeling his singing voice and percussion very near. Philip Bailey sings a duet in voice, and Ramsey Lewis is singing a duet firmly with the finger. The smiling face of Ramsey which gazed at Philip while performing was like a gentle look to a child . ⑤ SERPENTINE FIRE ⑥ SHINING STAR ⑦ SEPTEMBER ⑧ ONCE I LOVED The music which I did not know was played shortly after the hit numbers of EWF . Fantastic tune with an urbane rhythm, a slow base, and a piano. ⑨ THE IN CROWD ⑩ ※ I don't know this song. As for this music, Philip participated only on the percussion! Members once left in vigorous applause! Isn't the show too short? I looked on my wrist watch , it was already 23. Actually,they did play over 1 hour.
