I Feel The Light

I Feel The Light 　/　Little Glee Monster featuring Earth,Wind & Fire (2019)

The long-awaited CD has been released! Little Glee Monster has grown into a leading Japanese girl vocal group .
Their new song features our Earth, Wind & Fire!
They were the undercards of the last time the EWF came to Japan and performed a concert at Budokan.

In that case, I do not know their existence ...
Surprise to sing the famous song "Septenmber" together ...
In this performance, I shot this video ...

 * Movie shooting was OK, so it was not taken illegally.
Comments on my YouTube channel are only for Little Glee Monster fan ...

It's an incredibly popular group! New songs featuring EWF.
Many EWF members have collaborated with Japanese artists,
Maurice White with Sakurako Mitsui, kaito, Noriko Sakai,
Philip Bailey with Anri, J-frends
Ralph Jonson with Hiromi Iwasaki,

However, there were few examples in the past that feature and release with the entire EWF group.
Unfortunately, it seems that it is only released in Japan with a CD and DVD set. But you can get this here!
【Amazon.co.jp限定】I Feel The Light (通常盤) (オリジナル缶バッジ付)

The groove is EWF! It's really cool!
There's a Philip Bailey solo, and their melody line is overlaid by Philip's chorus.

How many EWF members are participating?
There was a notation on the jacket.

 Lyrics / Philip Bailey
Produced by Philip Bailey
Vocal Direction / Valerie Bailey
Horn Arrengement/ Ray Brown
Gutiars / Masa Kohama
Bass / Verdine White
Drums / John Paris
Trumpets / Rashwn Ross, Will Artope,
Alto Tenor Sax / Gary Bias
Trombone / Reggie Young

I was able to confirm John Paris's participation in the video, but ...
My favorite Gary Bias and Reggie Young were also ...
It should be a funky and lucky sound like EWF!
This product also comes with a DVD.
PV, which Little Glee Monster co-starred with Earth, Wind & Fire,
They also comment on how they participated in this miracle project.

The CD coupling song is a Christmas song that seems to be a huge hit even for singles.
 It's a rich one!

I Feel The Light featuring Earth, Wind & Fire

Little glee monster
Japanese talented girls vocal group.

New song"I Feel The Light" of them feature EWF!

After serving the undercard when EWF visited Japan last time ...
They joined the climax part of the stage! September.
Played TOGETHER.

I didn't know who they were at that time ...
But now it's a popular group that everyone knows if you like music in Japan.

Most of commen at this video was by their fans .
* By the way, the video was allowed to be shot at the time of live performance, so it was not illegally recorded.

There were many EWF members involved in Japanese artists ...
* Anri, Dricam, J Frinds, Naoko Kawai and others.
Cases collaborated in a group called EWF are very rare.

Announced the production of "I Feel The Light featuring Earth, Wind & Fire", a collaboration song with Earth, Wind & Fire, at LINE LIVE, commemorating the 5th anniversary of the debut.

The new song is not yet sold, but ...
PV of new song is released.

A nice up-song that feels really grooved.
Surprisingly, Philip Bailey sings a lot.
The parts of Little Green Monster are not so many in Japanese.
I felt that it was unnecessarily.

Since they could feature EWF in the future, they could aim for the global market if they made English there.

Groove that really moves.
By the way, who is the EWF member?
That's where I'm worried as a fan.

Three people were recognizeded by watching the video.
Vocal, Philip Bailey
Guitar, Verdine White
Drum, John Paris

As long as I was happy to hear Philip Bailey's voice with the new tune!
I want to listen new CD soon ...

Ramsey Lewis With Philip Bailey

Return to the index of We Love Earth,Wind&Fire!

It was historical live performance! Philip Bailey and Ramsey Lewis played together at Blue Note Tokyo. It was lucky that I could be at table of stage slippage although I arrived fairly just before curtain time. The big percussion set  is illuminated by the blue light before my slant. Lights dimmed 10 minutes later , Ramsey Lewis and his band member appeared  after the narration . Although I saw Ramsay Lewis's  for the first time, it is more youthful than have imagined . He must be remarkable age, he is tall and his back is so tight. Performance started. There was no member before the percussion set. Is that place for Philip? I wished. ①　BRAZILLICA ②  DEAR LORD、BLESSINGS ③　PRECIOUS LORD (GOSPEL MEDLEY) ④　.HERE'S TO LIFE　 Even if the scale which he pronounced was 2 mark note of the same C , Ramsey's sound hears different. These were so emotional and magnificent! After 4 numbers, Ramsey Lewis called a name of guest. Philip Bailey appeared. What a great view! Philip stood in front of the percussion set. straight position from me. The reason why Philip was in black suit and took his tie on, Ramsey Lewis was in suit. Nearness when he did Shout, to the extent his saliva shined  in lighting. It was really fortunate experience feeling his singing voice and percussion very near. Philip Bailey sings a duet in voice, and Ramsey Lewis is singing a duet firmly with the finger. The smiling face of Ramsey which gazed at Philip while performing was like a gentle look to a child . ⑤　SERPENTINE FIRE ⑥　SHINING STAR ⑦　SEPTEMBER ⑧　ONCE I LOVED The music which I did not know was played shortly after the hit numbers of EWF . Fantastic tune with  an urbane rhythm, a slow base, and a piano. ⑨　THE IN CROWD ⑩　※　I don't know this song. As for this music, Philip participated only on the percussion! Members once left  in vigorous applause! Isn't the show too short? I looked on my wrist watch , it was already 23. Actually, they did play over 1 hour. After few minutes, They were back to service for encore . ⑪　SUN GODDESS Wow! I really desired to feel this!   Return to the index of We Love Earth,Wind&Fire!

Feel My Soul

Feel My Soul / Jennifer Holliday (1983)

Jennifer Holiday got many prizes by Broadway musical "DREAMGIRLS" and built the place by the musical star up then.

This is her solo debut album of such force party includes hit song " I Am Love " written by Maurice White and David Foster!
The powerful and certain singing ability matches with a song of every kind of style tightly.
This Album was produced by Maurice White !
Members of Earth,Wind & Fire also participated in this album!
Especially I love this song inside, "Shine A Light "!
This song starts with vocoder of Larry Dunn just like biginning of "Let's Groove"
A chorus of Maurice White and Emotions gave this song more of delight and funk.
A melody may also be slightly similar to "Let's Groove".
You must have this album!

Classic Masters

Classic Masters / T-Connection （2002）

This is the best album of disco group T- Connection.
Representative songsfrom 70 's to 80 's were selected in this album .
Light sound and beautiful vocals are striking!

Ｉ　got this album because there was a song featuring Philip Bailey.
" Love Odyssey"was originally recorded in album "The Game of Life" in 1993 .
But Ｉ　couldn't get that ,so Ｉ　got his best album.
This is excellent excited music with harmoniy of T － Conection and Philp Bailey!
